Why Choose Us?
Connecticut Children’s Pediatric Psychogastroenterology Program focuses on the “brain-gut” connection in children and adolescents with gastrointestinal disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). These conditions can be difficult to manage or cause feelings of embarrassment, and can sometimes flare up if patients feel stressed or anxious.
Pediatric Psychologist Bradley Jerson, PhD, will work with you and your family to develop evidence-based psychosocial interventions with the goal of improving your child’s overall quality of life.
